What the AI does
HypeLead uses artificial intelligence (AI) in these places:
- Search. You describe your ideal customer in plain words or enter your website address, and the AI turns that into a search for companies and contacts.
- Company research. The AI reads public information about a company, for example its website, and summarises what it does.
- Fit scoring. The AI estimates how well a company matches your ideal customer (see below).
- Writing messages. The AI prepares drafts of emails and LinkedIn messages, and whole sequences.
- Sorting replies. The AI recognises whether a reply shows interest, a refusal or an out-of-office, and suggests an answer.
- In-app assistant. A chat that carries out actions in the app when you ask it to. It is always labelled as AI in the app.
A person decides
- By default, a person approves every message before it is sent.
- Automatic sending without approval is off by default. If you turn it on, each such send is your instruction and we record it.
- The assistant asks you before actions that send messages or spend a larger number of credits.
- A person always decides whom to contact. The AI only provides input.
How we mark AI content
- Email. Every email whose content was created by AI gets a machine-readable label in the message header,
X-AI-Generated: true. Mail systems and the recipient’s tools can recognise it that way. - LinkedIn. LinkedIn offers no place for this kind of technical label today, so LinkedIn messages are sent without it. If you want, you can add your own note to the message saying it was written with AI help.
- Chatting with AI. Where AI talks to you, for example the in-app assistant, the screen says so. There is no AI chat on our website.
How scoring works
- Each company can get a score from 0 to 100 for how well it matches the ideal customer you described.
- The score is based on public data about the company, for example its industry, size, location, technologies used and public signals, and how these match your description.
- The score does not rate individual people as persons and decides nothing by itself. It is an input you use to decide.
- If a recipient asks how you chose them, you can explain this principle to them.
Which providers we use
- Language model providers. We send AI tasks through one gateway to providers of large language models. Some of them are based in the USA.
- Knowledge-base search. We turn text into vectors with specialised providers so that we can search it by meaning.
- Speech-to-text. Runs on our own servers in the EU. We delete the audio right after transcription.
We send tasks that may contain personal data only to providers with whom we have a data processing contract. We do not promise that a provider stores no data at all; what it may do with the data is set by its contract. The names of all providers are in the Sub-processor List.
Our duties
HypeDigitaly is the provider of an AI system under the EU AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689). We meet the provider duties: we mark AI content, keep technical documentation of the system and make sure the people who work with AI at our company understand it.
When the AI makes a mistake
AI can be wrong. If you come across wrong, unsuitable or harmful output, write to us at info@hypedigitaly.ai. It helps us improve the AI.
